Usually, the books have a contemporary paranormal backdrop and there is a lot of baking. IMT drinks herbal tea and, in my mind’s eye, flawlessly responds to emails within twenty four hours, every time.
Technically, IMT was born twice.
First, in the 1990s the regular way. Then again, in a messy Suburu when a carpool group finally managed to choose a pseudonym as dramatic as the romance stories I pen.
My work as Imogen includes: novels, novellas, short stories, poetry, and other fiction-driven stories in the romance genre. All my stories involve queer protagonists and promise happily ever afters. As a feminist writer, I strive to create realistic characters, demonstrate healthy, consensual relationships, and give readers a happy ending, every time.

Because, listen, there are tons of straight stories. And I love many of them! Some of my best friends are straight! I personally just write things that I would want to read. And what I want to read are gay people who experience love in all sorts of way and homophobia in exactly zero ways. It’s good for the soul.
